Not quite waterfront, but on the island you can walk to one of the ocean beaches to swim, stroll, spearfish etc. In the evening you can grill your 'catch' over your driftwood fire - it's that kind of island; very private with lots of space and no facilities for the general public.
The apartment has 7 rooms with separate kitchen and dining room, fireplaced living room and a large heated sun porch. There is basement storage with a utility room.
This is a solid brick building, originally built for Navy officers and later sold privately.
It is a 6 unit co-op with excellent management
and the monthly fee ($850) includes all taxes, heat, maintenance, landscaping, etc.
You will have no maintenance worries. This is also a good summer rental vacation home.
