Botony Bay Island near Charleston, S.C. is one of the last remaining undeveloped oceanfront islands in the area. It consists of 600 acres of prime maritime forest and wetland preserves. We host active nesting bald eagles, ospreys, loggerhead turtles, myriads of dolphins, etc. This special property for sale consists of a one acre oceanfront lot which has been improved by adding a septic system, pilings for a guest cottage, and electricity, plus 1/12th ownership in the lodge and the entire 600-acre island. It is surrounded by maritime forest. The island is owned primarily by 12 families, who have donated a large portion of the island to the nature conservancy.
